* Until 1030 PM CDT.

* At 923 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Waynesboro, moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include… Columbia, Lawrenceburg, Hohenwald, Centerville, Waynesboro, Linden, Mount Pleasant, Loretto, Collinwood, Summertown, Clifton, Lobelville, St. Joseph, Ethridge, Gordonsburg, Henryville, Kimmins, Primm Springs, Flatwoods, and Lutts.

The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for western Maury County effective until 10:30 PM CDT tonight.

As of 10:01 PM in Maury County, the temperature is 71.1°F with overcast skies and a strong wind blowing at 23.1 mph. No precipitation has been recorded yet despite the overcast conditions.

Earlier today, temperatures reached a high of 75.7°F and a low of 57.6°F, with wind speeds peaking at 23.1 mph. There was a heavy rain forecast with a total expected precipitation of 0.72 inches and an 84% chance of rain.

Tonight, the temperature is forecasted to drop to a low of 65.5°F. The sky will remain overcast, with continued strong winds of up to 23.1 mph. The likelihood of precipitation remains high at 84%.
