We are on the cusp of a new year, and here are five events taking place in Columbia guaranteed to make it a memorable celebration of the passing of 2023 and the ringing in of 2024. This family-friendly celebration will begin at 7:00 p.m. to say bye-bye 2023. BlueAshes will be playing their last rockin’ concert of 2023. They play Classic Rock hits as well as BlueAshes original songs.
It is a clean and family-friendly bar, allowing kids to attend the event. They have pizza and plenty of fried bar food.

Roaring into ’24 New Year’s Eve Celebration

Celebrate New Year’s Eve at the Farmstead Cellar Tasting Parlour in Roaring 20’s style. Located along the Duck River, on the historic Columbia Square, guests will find the Farmstead Cellar Tasting Parlour tucked away on the second floor of the Farmstead Community Market. The space takes guests back to a simpler time while bringing the community together.
Begin celebrating by enjoying celebratory sparkling wine cocktails, live music, and hors d’oeuvres included within the ticket price. This private celebration begins with live music provided by the Stephanie Adlington Duo. Stay to start the new year in their upstairs venue overlooking historic Columbia Square, steps away from the always popular tradition of gathering on the square for Center of Hope’s annual Mule Drop.
3. New Year’s Eve Celebration

Bring in the new year with RUBIKS GROOVE! Rubiks Groove is a premiere “outside of the box” 80s, 90s and 00s tribute band. They are a favorite in the area because of their high energy, character-driven act that will take you back to the best era of music with a complete 360-degree interactive experience. The experience includes live music from rock to hip hop, fun characters, costumes, and videos.
The Balcony Suite is the place to be for the NUMBER ONEparty night of the year! A suite holds six to eight people comfortably. Each suite has plenty of room to stand or sit at one of the two high top tables with barstools, and a velvet couch is available. Suites also have their own designated server throughout the evening. Water and a charcuterie board is provided in the suites for the ticket price.
Tables for four are available along with general admission standing for the Theatre Floor, and there will be drink specials all night long as you dance the night away.
4.Ring in 2024 Like a Night at Studio 54

Rebel Bar and Grill is bringing in the New Year with a disco costume party in Studio 54 style. So poof up your hair and get out the tube tops, glitter and platform shoes. It’s time to glam it like the 70s.
Admission gets you an exclusive entry with two drink tickets, a midnight champagne toast, an all you care to eat festival of hors d’oeuvres and small plates party, party favors, karaoke and lots of great disco dance music.

5.New Year’s Eve Karaoke Party

DJ Garlic will have the karaoke mic on and the tunes spinning all night.
6. New Year’s Eve Mule Drop

Time: 8:00 p.m. until 12:15 a.m.
Cost: Free
The Center of Hope and Experience Maury New Year’s Eve Mule Drop will begin at 8:00 p.m. with the raising of the drop. Then, the Emerald Empire Band will take to the stage. There will be hourly countdowns and toasts, at 11 pm DJ Chase will take the stage to bring the hits and dance music!! All of this leads up the Grand Finale at midnight with fireworks and confetti cannons!!
Food trucks and a Kid’s Zone will be available. Submit your confetti wishes in advance to Cindy at [email protected], and your wish for 2024 may be read on stage during one of their hourly countdowns. For those 21 and up, there will be a beer garden available to the public.
