Jimmy Allen Morton, age 78, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023.
Born on January 2, 1945, in Maury County, Jimmy was the son of the late Hollis Morton and the late Isabelle Kelley Morton.
He is survived by his sons, Steve (Debbie) Morton of Murfreesboro, TN, Shane (Virginia) Morton, of Lynchburg, TN. Brothers, Chester Morton, of Madison, TN, Jerry Morton, of Columbia, TN, and Johnny Ray Morton, of Columbia, TN.Sister, Wanda Morton, of Linden, TN. Grandchildren, Justin Fralix, Jeri Lynn Morton, David Morton, Cody Morton, Trey Clardy, Tyler Morton, Cole Clardy, Carson Baker, and great-grandchildren, Bentley Fralix, Caysin Hodge, Faith Ann Fralix, Dean Morton and Presleigh Morton.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Jennifer Lee Baker Morton, and infant son Michael Anthony “Mark” Morton.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Keith Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
