The City of Columbia has announced Jeremy Finley as its March Employee of the Month, recognizing his continued leadership and service in fire and emergency operations.
Finley, who serves as Assistant Chief of Fire Suppression, was described as a seasoned professional who consistently demonstrates strong knowledge, reliability, and a commitment to getting the job done right. City officials noted that he has earned the respect of both his colleagues and the public, with a natural ability to lead and connect with others.
Officials added that regardless of the situation or level of pressure, Finley gives his full effort and represents the department at a high level. They said the city is fortunate to have a professional of his caliber serving the community.
