The City of Columbia is kicking off the Columbia Mayor’s Youth Council (CMYC) for the 2024-25 school year! The CMYC is designed to educate students about local government, foster leadership skills, and encourage community involvement among Columbia’s diverse high school population.
The CMYC is open to all Maury County high school students—public, private, and home-schooled. Applications opened on August 1st and can be found on the City of Columbia’s website: https://www.columbiatn.com/598/Columbia-Mayors-Youth-Council
Applications are due by Friday, August 23, 2024, at 4:00 pm and can be submitted via email to [email protected] or mailed to City Hall. Selected applicants will be notified of acceptance via email on September 3rd.
