Congratulations to Assistant Chief of Police Jeremy Haywood. He recently celebrated 25 years with the Columbia Police Department.
Assistant Chief Haywood started as an explorer with the Columbia Police Department back in 1991, before being hired as a full-time Patrolman on December 14th, 1998.
Assistant Chief Haywood has moved up through the ranks of Investigations and Patrol before being promoted to Assistant Chief of Police in 2022.
