The City is pleased to announce Josh Moore as the April Employee of the Month.
Josh is the Sanitation Supervisor in the Public Works Department and has been a dedicated City of Columbia employee for over 15 years. Throughout his career, he has held several positions, consistently demonstrating hard work, leadership, and a commitment to excellence.
Josh recently went above and beyond when he came upon a vehicle accident where a van had veered off the road and down an embankment. He quickly called 911 and assisted at the scene, checking on the driver and passenger and offering aid until emergency personnel arrived. His quick thinking and compassionate response exemplify the kind of employee and person Josh is.
When asked to pose for his Employee of the Month photo, Josh insisted that the credit for his success be shared—recognizing the incredible team he works with each day. In addition to moments like these, Josh continues to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities with excellence every day. He is a valuable asset to the Public Works team and the entire City of Columbia.
