The City is pleased to announce Kane Pigg as the February Employee of the Month.
Kane Pigg is a member of the Management Information Systems (MIS) IT Department and played a key role during the City’s recent domain migration from .com to .gov. He worked diligently, often putting in extra hours, to ensure every employee was successfully moved to the new domain. This process involved physically touching every computer to transition it over to the new domain, along with transferring all necessary files, folders, and pictures from the old user accounts.
Kane’s dedication and eagerness to learn the skills needed to assist City employees with their computer issues have been invaluable. His contributions to maintaining the City network have made a significant impact, and he continues to be a true asset to both the MIS Department and the City of Columbia.
