Assistant Chief Jeremy Haywood awarded Officer David Williams with Columbia Police Department’s Officer of the Month for September 2023.
On September 10th, 2023, Ofc. Williams responded to investigate a theft case where over 4,000 dollars was stolen from a local business.
During Ofc. Williams’s investigation he collected video evidence and conducted several interviews that aided in obtaining a warrant for the offender. Thanks to Ofc. Williams diligent efforts put towards the investigation the case was solved and the offender was arrested.
