Columbia residents will get a chance to learn more about upcoming plans for the eastern part of the city during a public open house. The drop-in event will highlight the community’s long-term vision and give locals an opportunity to share their thoughts.
City officials and planning consultants will be on hand Thursday, November 20, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Dr. Christa S. Martin Community Center at Fairview Park, 871 Iron Bridge Road. Exhibits will showcase ideas for improving walkability, expanding neighborhood services, strengthening community connections, and upgrading local infrastructure.
Attendees can stop by any time during the two-hour window, ask questions, and offer feedback. Snacks and drinks will be available for visitors.
