Four Maury County Public Schools Selected as MOD Schools

The following Maury County Public Schools have been selected as Model of Demonstration (MOD) Schools for Response to Instruction and Intervention for Behavior (RTI2-B)! This recognition is based on the schools’ partnership with the Tennessee Behavior Supports Project during the 2020-2021 school year.

MOD Schools, like these, are implementing one or more tiers of RTI2-B with high fidelity and have applied the framework to improve their school climate and culture, student engagement, and school connectedness. We encourage them to share their practices, examples, and innovations with other schools in our state. We appreciate these school teams’ hard work and dedication to improve learning and strengthen positive behavior in their schools. The students, faculty, staff, and community certainly benefit from everyone’s efforts!

Schools of Recognition (SOR) are actively engaged in the initial stages of implementing RTI2-B. We recognize each school team’s commitment to creating a positive school climate and shaping their environment to be places where students can be successful.
