Mr. Mark Allen Clark, age 66, husband of Geraldine Clark, and a resident of Columbia, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at his residence.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 6, 2021, at 1:00 PM at Ebenezer Church, 1575 Terrapin Branch Road, Mt. Pleasant, TN 38474. Interment will be held at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mark was born on June 22, 1954, in Utica, New York, and was the son of the late Allen Nelson Clark and the late Virginia Elizabeth Wyss Clark. He was raised in Waterville, New York, and was a 1972 graduate of Waterville High School. He married Geraldine in 1990, and in 2005 they moved to Tennessee. Mark worked his entire life in construction and often enjoyed carpentry work and building and tinkering with things. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren who affectionately called him Papa Mark.
He is survived by his wife, Geraldine “Queen” Clark, children, Katie Lynn (Carl) Mayne, Carl (Nichol) Honsaker, Curtis (Erin) Honsaker, Matthew (Bobbielee) Stephenson, precious grandchildren, Caden and Kaylie Mayne, Jayden, and Mia Nichol Honsaker, George Liam Honsaker, Logan and Paisley Stephenson, sister, Linda Clark, niece, Renee Alderman, and special friends, Sara and Dickey Lindsey, Walter, Shay, Ronnie, Bell, and Cricket Fitzgerald, PDC family, Willie and Cindy Vanhook, Dr. Sinard, Dr. Dhulapala, and Dr. Ben High.
