Due to large amounts of ice still on several roads, Maury County Public Schools will open with a two (2) hour delay on Wednesday, January 24, 2024.
This delay allows for drivers, including MCPS bus drivers, parents & student drivers, to navigate roads in full daylight. Hopefully, this additional time will also mean less hazardous conditions on the roads and a melting of ice.
*** Add two hours to your typical departure time for school. For example, if a school bus typically picks your child up at 6:15 am, the bus tomorrow will pick up at 8:15 am.***
All after-school athletics, practices, and extracurriculars will resume as normal.
