1. Holiday Characters: Story Time & Selfies

Join the staff of Columbia’s visitors center for Holiday Characters: Story Time & Selfies!  Enjoy hours immersed in Christmas storybook readings and holiday cheer. Follow up story time with selfies by different holiday characters! This is the last one of the year so be sure to check out which holiday character will be reading a Christmas storybook. After the reading, the holiday character will roam the square until 3pm in and out of shops greeting and taking selfies! This is a free event.

2. Laura Lane

Mt. Pleasant Grille

Laura Lane,  an ASCAP singer-songwriter and Nashville recording artist, will be performing on Mt. Pleasant Grille’s downstairs stage! Laura Lane is originally from Columbia. Mt. Pleasant Grille couldn’t be happier to bring her talent and love for music to guests once again. She channels such artists as Bonnie Raitt and Stevie Nicks bringing a unique blend of blues, country, soul and rock to her live shows. The dinner menu and bar selection will be served in the Triangle Room with family style and bar seating.

3. Chess Club

Maury County Public Library

Join library staff members and others from the community for chess club every Tuesday and Saturday at the library! You can come to learn, come to teach, or just come to play! All ages are welcome and young ones are encouraged to attend! The library will provide boards and timers if you do not have your own.

4. Pictures with Santa

Santa is still making special appearances before the big day! One of those places will be at Columbia’s Tenn Pin Alley. Bring your camera and snap a pic with the big guy before he moves on to his next destination. There will also be cookies and milk for the kids and Santa if he decides to indulge a bit early this year.

5. Breakfast with Santa

Saturday, December 18, 8:00am-10:30am

Martin’s Bar-B-Que Joint

Come support Troop 818 with a delicious pancake breakfast and then have your picture made with Santa! Breakfast slots are 30 minutes each. We can seat 60 people at a time, so please sign up for the total number in your party at a time slot that works for you. Photos with Santa will be available to be taken after you’ve finished eating.
