1. Digital Painting and Color Workshop

Are you struggling with paint color but don’t know where to start? If you love to paint portraits, draw characters or create fantasy environments, painting digitally is a lot of fun. For most digital artists and those who are learning to paint, color is challenging, intimidating and one of the most difficult subjects to learn. Volunteer artists will be performing a series of workshops to help you start learning color to improve your color. Some of their topics include: color and composition exercise and monochrome film studies.

Damien Boggs’ music is an emotional conglomeration of folk, blues, Americana, and rock ‘n roll. He writes songs that have been lived and feel lived in. He is originally from Louisiana and now calls Columbia, TN home. Bad Idea Brewing makes their beer in the Columbia Arts Building. They are committed to serving an ever-changing lineup of delicious beers.

3. Blair Garner with Phil Vasser

Blair Garner hosts this intimate show from the stage of The Mulehouse with a blend of live interview and performance by the artist. Garner, the owner of The Mulehouse, was a well-known radio personality in country radio. He will be joined by Phil Vasser is a country music artist who was recently a nominee for the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame alongside Toby Keith and Shania Twain.

4. Jeff Carson

Singer Jeff Carson is known for a string of country music chart toppers including songs such as “Not on Your Love,” “The Car,” and “Holdin’ Onto Somethin’.” In 1996, Carson won the ACM Video of the Year for “The Car.” Other songs include “Real Life (I Never Was the Same Again),” “Yeah Buddy,” “Do It Again,” and “Scars and All.”  The former number one record holder retired in 2009 to work as a community police officer in Franklin, Tennessee after experiencing the tragedy of 9/11. Come enjoy him live at Hardison Mill Homestead Hall!
