Maury Regional Health Update on COVID-19 Hospitalizations: Oct 11

As of October 11, Maury Regional Health hospitals are caring for 36 COVID patients, with 15 of those in an ICU bed.

This is a decrease in hospitalizations from last week. On Oct 3, Maury Regional Health hospitals reported they were caring for 50 COVID patients, with 15 of those in an ICU bed.

As of October 11, the Tennessee Department of Health reported 1,726 patients hospitalized with COVID, with 558 ICU COVID patients.

Vaccination, which protects against severe illness and hospitalization related to COVID, remains available through local health departments, retail pharmacies and Maury Regional Health.

In addition to first and second doses, booster doses of the Pfizer vaccine are now available for certain individuals who received the two-dose series of Pfizer, with the second dose at least six months ago.
