Last week (October 11), Maury Regional Health hospitals reported 36 COVID patients, with 15 of those in an ICU bed.
As of Oct 19, there were 1,389 individuals hospitalized with COVID in Tennessee, with 462 in an ICU bed.
Vaccination, which protects against severe illness and hospitalization related to COVID, remains available through local health departments, retail pharmacies and Maury Regional Health.
In addition to first and second doses, booster doses of the Pfizer vaccine are now available for certain individuals who received the two-dose series of Pfizer, with the second dose at least six months ago.
