Herrick is the patchwork of two lives long lived together. Sewn up in organic composition and exquisite harmonies, theirs is a fabric held together with steel thread. Their partnership started all the way back in junior high school, a couple of kids growing up together in Spokane, Washington. High praise from some of the most coveted music critics hovered around them with regularity over the years including music historian Robert K. Oermann of Music Row Magazine and award-winning journalist Chuck Dauphin of Billboard Magazine, both citing Herrick as “the real deal.”

2. A Very Merry Muletown Family Christmas Celebration

Join Rolling Hills Community Church on the first Friday of December for an outdoor movie showing of A Charlie Brown Christmas. There will be animals featured in the nativity that will also double as a petting zoo. Get the family together and take some photos at the family picture station. Can familiar faces help to melt the Witch’s heart, or is she doomed to melt away herself? A Christmas classic gets a thrilling transformation, set in the magical world of L. Frank Baum’s Oz books. This is sure to be a family-friendly play you don’t want to miss!

4. Christmas at the Factory Black Tie Gala

A magical evening with live music by special guest artist Cassandra Coleman, along with a delicious catered heavy hors d’oeuvres and open bar. There will also be a beautiful curated Christmas Market filled with handmade art, jewelry, crafts, wood working, sweets/treats, and so much more for you to shop to your heart’s content. It’s a Black Tie (optional) Gala, and will be a wonderful way to kick off the Christmas season with friends and community. Part of the proceeds from this event will go to benefit the James K. Polk Home and Museum.

5. Columbia Main Street Parade and Tree Lighting

West 7th to Public Square, Columbia, TN

Since 1986, Columbia Main Street has been hosting the community’s annual Christmas Parade in Historic Downtown Columbia. Marching bands, school groups, boy scouts and girl scouts, church groups, classic cars and motorcycles spread seasonal cheer as they travel along West 7th St to the Public Square. Lighted floats complete with music and lights, delight the spectators, old and young, at this night time event!
