Painting with a Twist

Come out and enjoy this class for all ages. The studio welcomes painters of all ages to attend this class. As long as your child can sit through a 1.5 – 2 hour class, they are welcome to attend! Parents do not have to purchase a seat to sit with their child. Class begins promptly at start time indicated for your painting! Please arrive 15-20 minutes prior to class to set up refreshments, grab an apron and be ready to go at class start time! Feel free to bring in your favorite beverage and snacks to enjoy! This class is open to all ages and we request no hard alcohol.

3“Through the Window” Bob Ross Workshop

Join Certified Ross Instructor, Quintin Burlingame, as he leads students of all skill levels through the Bob Ross Wet-on-Wet Technique. In this painting, based on Series 30, Episode 7 of The Joy of Painting, students will use masking tape to create the illusion of a window on a 16×20″ canvas. Limited spacing is available; pre-registration is required. This event is for children age 11 and above, but age 13 and above is recommended.

4Shrek the Musical

Friday, January 27 to Sunday, January 28, various times

Starting their 26th year of productions, the award-winning Star Bright Players will present 5 performances of Shrek the Musical under the direction of Blandina Vergara-Cruz, with musical direction by Cassie Stone and choreography by Claire Hamblen. Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, Shrek The Musical is a Tony Award-winning fairy tale adventure, featuring all new songs from Jeanine Tesori and a side-splitting book by David Lindsay-Abaire. Shrek brings all the beloved characters you know from the film to life on stage and proves there’s more to the story than meets the ears.

5Winter Seed Swap

Bring your seeds, or bring some of the extra seeds you know you want to buy, a covered dish and a beverage, and bring a notebook for all the knowledge you will get from Martin DeHart as he shares his experience and gardening know-how! There will be hot water and coffee with all the fixings, paper goods and utensils, tables and chairs.
