1Oktoberfest

It’s the 5th Annual Oktoberfest event benefitting Room in the Inn on Friday Oct. 4th 2024 from 6:00pm – 10:00pm at Riverwalk Park. Tickets available via Eventbrite or at the gate.
This year’s event will feature over 25 regional craft beers and ciders along with food trucks, vendors, live music by Murphy Ridge, and games such as a Wiener Dog Race, keg toss, and stein hold. Additionally, prizes will be awarded for the best Oktoberfest-themed adult costumes.

2Opening Weekend for Pumpkin Paradise

It’s opening weekend for Pumpkin Paradise in Columbia. Pumpkin Paradise offers a fun-filled farm experience. Whether you are looking for a close place to have a field trip, an exciting birthday party, or just need a place for the kids to run off some energy, Pumpkin Paradise is the place for you! They offer swings, slides, corn box, pedal track, climbing tires, inside hay maze, sit n’ play, flying pigs, gravel pit, and much more. Be sure to stop by the farmer’s garden and see what we are growing. Make sure to take a ride on the hayride, spot some cows and learn a few things about them. Don’t forget to the read the signs posted around the field and see what you can learn about being a farmer.

4Whole Hog Festival

Saturday, October 5, 10 am – 5:30 pm
Oaklawn Mansion, 3331 Denning Lane, Spring Hill
Join Spring Hill’s largest community event, the John Maher Whole Hog Festival, benefitting The Well Outreach Food Ministry. It has something for everyone including 20 yummy Food Trucks featuring lots of Pork-themed food, a Regional Crafts Fair, a Bacon-Eating Contest and a Hog-Calling Contest, 7 local bands playing GREAT music, a Children’s Entertainment Stage and a HUGE Kid’s Zone with lots of free Kid’s activities.
Admission is $5 per person.
5Columbia Ghost Tour

Saturday, October 5, 8pm
41 Public Square, Columbia
Now in its 15th year, join us for this fall tradition in Columbia, TN. Your guides will lead you around downtown Columbia, sharing history and eerie tales. The tour starts with the ringing of the 8 o’clock bell in front of the Maury County Courthouse. Tickets are $10 per person. Cash only. Reservations are required.
