Join members of the community for Columbia First Friday! With all the town’s favorite downtown shops and restaurants open late (till at least 8), live music and street performers, it’s the “can’t miss” event of the month! Grab the gang and head downtown for Columbia’s monthly block party.

2. Riverside Fall Block Party

The Riverside community is having a block party! There will be plenty of fun for both kids and adults. For the kids there will be bouncy houses, face painting, and a movie! For the adults there will be a corn hole tournament, a chili cook off and live music! Food trucks and great company will also be present for all to enjoy. To register for corn hole, it is $10 per team and the winner takes the pot. Don’t forget to register for the chili cook off!

Zion Christian Academy is having their Fall Fundraiser! Ticket purchases for the show also includes dinner and will be considered a donation to Zion Christian Academy. The artists that will be playing for the event includes the following hit songwriters: George Ducas, Adam Hambrick, JT Harding, Jerrod Niemann, Jeffery Steele and Thompson Square. They have written hit songs for artists such as Dan & Shay, Justin Moore, Rascal Flatts, Montgomery Gentry, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, Lee Brice, Thompson Square, Jerrod Niemann, Jeffery Steele and many more!

4. Veteran’s “Living History” & Exhibit

Monday, November 8 to Wednesday, November 10, 9:00am-6:00pm

501 Armstrong St, Columbia, TN

Macedonia Recreation Center

The theme this year is “The Military Oath to Protect the Constitution.” The founding documents will be the centerpiece of the event: The Mayflower Compact; Declaration of Independence’ Constitution, and Original Bill of Rights. We will have historical posters depicting the founding of America. Veterans will be available to tell their military stories to the public as part of a “Living History” exhibit and they will have personal displays describing their military service. The Tennessee National Guard will be attending in full uniform, and providing a vehicle and a weapons display.
