Columbia Noon Rotary, Columbia Breakfast Rotary, and Kiwanis of Columbia are partnering with First Fridays to host the annual Independence Day Celebration — and this year, it’s happening during First Fridays!

Patriotic Parade for Kids
Families are encouraged to bring bikes, wagons, scooters — all decked out in red, white, and blue — so children can lead a festive parade around the square!

Meet at the Lower Parking Garage on North Main at 5:00 PM
Parade begins at 5:30 PM through the First Fridays event space!
Honoring Ceremony

Immediately after the parade, enjoy a special ceremony to honor the men and women who have served and are serving our country — featuring patriotic music, a tribute, and the National Anthem.

2Maury County Park to Host Fourth of July Fireworks Show

Celebrate Independence Day with a dazzling fireworks display at Maury County Park in Columbia! The community is invited to gather on Friday, July 4, at 1018 Maury County Park Drive for a festive evening under the stars.

The one-hour event kicks off around 9 p.m., with fireworks launching from the top of the hill. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, snacks, and friends to enjoy the show from one of the many scenic spots throughout the park. For the full experience, tune your radio to 87.9 FM to hear the synchronized soundtrack that accompanies the fireworks.

As a reminder, personal fireworks are not allowed in the park. Organizers emphasize safety and encourage attendees to sit back and enjoy the professional display. In case of weather delays, officials plan to proceed with the show as conditions allow.

3Independence Celebration in Mt. Pleasant

The City of Mount Pleasant would like to invite you to join for an Independence Celebration on Saturday, July 5th, 2025 from 5-9 pm at the Mount Pleasant Community Center (501 Gray Lane, Mount Pleasant, Tennessee 38474).

Bring your chairs and blanket and set up on the front lawn of the Community Center. There will be live music, food trucks. The splash pad will be open and there will be a kids zone. The event starts at 5 pm and ends with Fireworks at 9 pm. Please come join us and enjoy the time with family and friends!

Fireworks, Food, and Friends at the Fork will be taking place on Friday, July 4th, 2025 at 3 pm at Fork in the Road Diner (3211 Chestnut Ridge Rd, Santa Fe, TN 38482).

Food will be served from 11am-7pm! Bring some chairs and come hang out and spend the day with some great company and see a great fireworks show! Everyone is welcome!

Downtown Nashville

Dierks Bentley will headline Let Freedom Sing! Music City July 4th in downtown Nashville.

Celebrate Independence Day in 2025 at the FREE family-friendly event in Downtown Nashville. This Fourth of July will feature one of the largest fireworks shows in the country, with the pyrotechnics synchronized to a live performance by the GRAMMY-winning Nashville Symphony.

The free Family Fun Zone will return, featuring inflatables and live music. The concert and fireworks/drone show are free and open to the public.

Kids can enjoy the Amazon Family Fun Zone at Walk of Fame Park from 11 am – 5pm. Live music begins around 5pm on the Broadway Stage at First and Broadway and the Nashville Symphony will play from Ascend Amphitheater around 9:30pm in coordination with the fireworks.
