Betty Jane Wyeth, age 61, a resident of Santa Fe, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Howard Alexander officiating. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on January 28, 1960, in Crawfordsville, Indiana, Jane was the daughter of the late Robert Phelps and the late Nancy Denim Cooksey. She was a strong spirited firecracker with a determination that had no boundaries. Jane had a passion for the culinary arts, always looking to improve her skills. She also acquired a stupendously large cookbook collection. In addition, Jane had a passion for history, exploration, and collection of antiques. Jane cherished family above all things and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Mark Wyeth of Santa Fe, sons, Jason (Deanna) Wyeth of Columbia, Nathan (Erin) Wyeth of Georgia, Andrew (Angela) Wyeth of Santa Fe, brother, David Phelps of Indiana, sister, Bobbie Jean Montgomery of Ohio, and grandchildren, Jacob, Kalyb, Isabella, Parker, Sawyer, Shawn, Maddy, and Sammy Wyeth.
