Billy Roy Park, farmer, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022 at his residence in Columbia, Tennessee, he was 92 years old.
Born April 26, 1930 in Maury County, he was the son of the late Falvious Andrew Park and the late Arnette Denton Park.
On October 29, 1989, he married Martha Elizabeth Johnson Coop Park who preceded him in death on December 15, 2010. Mr. Park served in the National Guard and was an avid woodcarver. He was a member of Pleasant Mount Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his daughter, Andrea Wolfe; grandchildren, Katherine E. (Corey) Green, Buddy (Brittany) Lovell, Albert G. Green, Holl Irlinger; great-grandchildren, Grady Green, and Colesyn Lovell; and special friends, Elliott and Cathy Hampton.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph Edwin Park, Charles Raymond Park; and an infant brother.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 A.M. at Pleasant Mount Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Reverend Byrd Broyles and Reverend Jimmy Rochelle officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Mount Cemetery with military honors provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the church.
Active pallbearers will be Charles Martindale, John Park, Jonathan Bates, Derrick McCord, Elliott Hampton, and Corey Primm.
