Mr. Bunyan Lee Gore, Jr. (Lee), lost his battle with pancreatic cancer on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, he was 59 years old.
He is survived by his wife and soul mate, Sherry Tarkington Gore. Lee and Sherry were married for almost 27 years.
Lee is preceded in death by his parents, Bunyan L. Gore, Sr. and Willie Mae Gore.
Lee graduated from Central High School and started on his lifelong career in the grocery business . He was Produce Manager for Tietgen’s Cee Bee up until 2015 after battling and defeating pancreatic cancer the first time.
Lee loved The Braves, Vanderbilt, Titans and the Preds.
If he were here right now, I know he would ask you to toast him with his long ago favorite drink, Crown and water.
Lee was an animal lover, especially dogs. Our dog and cats are missing him. Please donate in Lee’s honor to your local animal rescue such as Lucky’s Cat House, Arrow Dog Rescue, Nashville Cat Rescue, Maury County Animal Shelter. There are so many animals in need.
