Carolyn Jane Krist, age 72, a resident of Columbia, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Carolyn was born on February 13, 1949, in Columbia and was the daughter of the late Stanley Ferguson and the late Mary Frances Frost Ferguson. She was a huge wrestling fanatic and also loved watching criminal justice television shows. She enjoyed working puzzle books, reading romance novels, and in her younger years, often enjoyed planting a flower garden.
She is survived by her children: Tammy (Buddy) Ashworth of Columbia, TN, Charles Daniel of Wisconsin, Hannah (Carl) Ford of Lawrence County, TN, brother, Tommy Ferguson, sisters, Freda Mosley, Winnie Coleman, Patsy Sims, Linda Chapman, Annie Walls, nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Ferguson, sister, Mary Owen, and daughter, Tiffany Krist.
