Mrs. Catherine Louise Potts Krenz, 80, a resident of Mockingbird Drive in Columbia, died Thursday, May 5, 2022 at her residence.
Born on December 31, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Hillburn Potts and the late Fannie Bell Morton Potts.
She married Lee Krenz on November 25, 1998 and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her husband of 23 years, she is survived by her children, Connie (Mike) Mills of Lewisburg and Michael R Nance Columbia; grandchildren, Seth (Jamie) Nance of Lewisburg and Cecil (Carolyn) Mills of Lewisburg; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Wanda Morris and Mary McClanahan both of Columbia; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Barbara Butler, Betty Mearse, Effie Mae Black, Patricia Pratt, and Charlene Miller.
Graveside services for Mrs. Krenz will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Polk Memorial Gardens with Matt Judd officiating. The family will visit with friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com.
