Cordera D’Andre Secrest, age 35, passed away Monday, August 30, 2021, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee.
Cord was born July 28, 1986, in Columbia, TN to George Triggs, Jr. and the late Kathryn McKnight Secrest.
Cord was a kind soul that loved to be in the moment. He valued his relationships with friends and family above all other things. He always enjoyed working with computers and gaming on his PS5. Cord’s passion was always music he would spend hours and hours creating and perfecting beats. Cord is deeply loved by all that knew him and he will be missed.
He is survived by his father; sister: Tomika Secrest; brother: Robert Gaines; step-sister: Malissa (Kefentse) Sheppard-Morris; uncles: Steven McKnight, Tyrone McKnight, and Randolph (Darlene) McKnight; niece: McKenzie Mullins; nephew: Kayden Gaines, and ten other nieces and nephews; special friends: Lisa Childress, Adam Booker, and Quantez Gilbert; and a host of cousins and friends.
Cord is preceded in death by his mother; grandmother: Laura Mae McKnight; uncle: James C. McKnight, Luther Jerry Mcknight II; aunt: Laura Bell McKnight,
Family will receive friends Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, TN. A Celebration of Life service will begin immediately following visitation at 5:00 p.m.
