Cynthia Diane Richardson Osborne, 64, resident of Columbia, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2024 at Life Care Center of Columbia.
Born August 17, 1959 in Columbia, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Charles Edward Richardson and the late Ruby Christine Rose Richardson.
Mrs. Osborne worked as a Teacher Assistant at Corinth Elementary School in Texas, before moving to Tennessee. She enjoyed playing cards, her favorite being Rook, and working crossword puzzles. Mrs. Osborne’s greatest love was her family. She was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her brothers, Harold Wayne (Julie) Richardson of Culleoka, TN, and Johnny Ray Richardson of Culleoka, TN; sisters, JoAnn Richardson of Springfield, TN, Debra Ruth (Ray) Heidelberg of Dallas, TX, Lois (Larry) Beard of Franklin, TN, and Carolyn (Johnny) Wilson; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Donnie Clay Chapman Jr., and her great-niece, Marlee Anna Mealer.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, August 11, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Santa Fe Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and again on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. till the time of service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Randall Gupton, Cody Gupton, Frank Nicholson, Noah Nicholson, Hayden Jones, and J.D. Davis.
