Daniel Kenneth Richard, age 42, a resident of Columbia, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023, at his residence.
Daniel was born on November 7, 1980, in Adrian, Michigan, and was the son of Mindy Lara and Dan Richard.
He was a 1999 graduate of Forrest High School in Chapel Hill, TN and earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee Martin in 2004. His first job in high school was at Taco Bell, and he has gradually grown within the company over the years. He was most recently an Analyst for the corporate office, MRCO, LLC. In his spare time, he enjoyed gaming. Above all, he loved his sons Aidan and Tristan.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sons, Aidan Richard of Columbia, TN and Tristan Richard of Columbia, TN, stepdaughter, Skyla Levine of Clarksville, TN, sister, Jacki (Chasen) Waugh of Spring Hill, TN, niece, Delaney Waugh of Mt. Juliet, TN, nephew, Jacksen Waugh of Spring Hill, TN, grandmother, Ann Ruddick of Adrian, MI, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Henry Lara and grandparents, Thomas Ruddick, Tim Richard, Eleanora Richard, and Mary Ludwig.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. A visitation will also be held on Friday from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. https://www.tnfunerals.com
