Danny L. Ross, age 64, husband of Teresa Hale Ross and a resident of Culleoka, passed away Monday, April 3, 2023, at his residence.
Born on August 13, 1958, in Danville, Illinois, Danny was the son of the late James Norman Ross and June (Williams) Hargrove.
He was previously employed at General Motors for 32 years. His last job was self-employed woodworking at Dan Ross, LLC. Danny loved being “old school”; his word or handshake was his life. He took pride in giving people his word. He very much enjoyed sports. Danny was especially much in love with his wife, Teresa, children, and grandchildren. He also adored his fur baby, Cowboy.
In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by daughters, Jamie Ross-Wright of Culleoka, Chanisty McCoy of Culleoka, brother, David (Gayle) Ross of Indiana, sisters, Monica (Brad) Cornwell of Indiana, Carla (Mark) Lincicum of Indiana, grandchildren, Alexis (Frank) Nacaroto, Michael C. Self, Elizabeth Ross-Wright, Dakota (Jacquline) Self, Wyatt Self, Jacob Branchau and Austin Branchau, great-grandchildren, Sterling Nacarato and Ruby Cheyann Self (arriving in May).
Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Danyl Ross.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at 6:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Stacy Pearson officiating. A visitation will also be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
