Mr. David Weslie McCandless, age 47, a resident of Williamsport, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021, at his residence.
Born on February 18, 1974, in Nashville, David was the son of Lois Kennedy McCandless and the late John Wesley McCandless. He enjoyed fishing, doing odds and ends crafts, and collecting knives, hat pins, and rings. He had a great sense of humor, always teasing his family and friends.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Kathy Hickerson, sons, Jessie James McCandless of Florida, David Austin Ray McCandless of Florida, daughter, Lizzie Elaine Doye McCandless of Florida, brother, Vetchel McCandless of Williamsport, sister, Lee Ann (Jeff) Tidwell of Williamsport, brother in law, Keith Netherton of Franklin, sister in law, Jennnifer Whited of Nunnelly, and mother in law, Regina Netherton of Franklin.
Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his nephew, James Adam McCandless, and father-in-law, Jerry Netherton.
