Delrick Jaquet Johnson, age 64, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, entered into God’s Kingdom on Monday, August 21, 2023.
Born June 22, 1959, in Maury County, he was the son of the late John Thomas Johnson and the late Dorothy Lockridge Johnson.
He was a 1977 graduate of Columbia Central High School and served in the United States Army. He retired from DuPont where he had worked for over 20 years.
Delrick was a member of World Outreach in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He loved sharing the love and warmth of our savior, Jesus Christ, with as many people as possible.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Victor Johnson, and two sisters, Kimberly Cooper and Alice Faye Bills.
He is survived by his wife Beverly Johnson of Columbia, TN; daughter, LaKeshia Johnson of Columbia, TN; son, Anthony Johnson of Smyrna, TN; brothers, Thomas Ray Beasley of Columbia, TN; Rev. Barry (Doris) Johnson of Beavercreek, OH, and Rev. Rodney (Nikki) Johnson of Lenexa, KS; and sister, Carla Webster and her fiancé, William Frazier of Columbia, TN.
A graveside committal service will be held on Friday, August 25th at 10:00 AM at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the United States Army. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 24th from 1:00 – 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. https://www.tnfunerals.com
