Diana Lynn Johnson, age 52, a resident of Columbia, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2022, at her residence.
Born on January 15, 1970, in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, Diana was the daughter of the late Rosemary & Charles Ray Cothran and the late Lillian & Stanley Peterson.
She was a 1988 graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School and attended Columbia State Community College. She enjoyed her job as a caretaker at the Impact Center where she worked over twenty years. Diana loved to cook and was especially proud of her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Stephen (Brianna) Johnson of Mt. Pleasant, Benjamin (Cassandra) Johnson of Columbia, Brian (Haley) Johnson of Columbia, Jon Jon Nichols of Columbia, sister, Dawn (Chris) Westfall of Columbia, and grandchildren, Summer Johnson, Stephen Johnson, Jr., Benjamin Johnson, Jr., Theo Johnson, and Jeremiah Nichols.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at 4:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Chris Westfall officiating. A visitation will also be held on Tuesday from 3:00 – 4:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. https://www.tnfunerals.com
