Ms. Elaine Miller Booker, age 70, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee went home to be with her Lord on September 17, 2021, at NHC Columbia.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Rosemont Cemetery with Rev. Kenny Anderson officiating. It is the family’s wishes that anyone who attends the visitation or service please wear a mask and practice social distancing. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
A native of Columbia, Elaine was born on June 23, 1951, and was the daughter of the late Nelson Miller Sr. and the late Claudia LeMay Miller Caldwell Secrest. Elaine was a 1969 graduate of Carver- Smith High School. She went on to attend Columbia State Community College of Business. Elaine was employed by Maury Regional Medical Center for over 40 years. Elaine was a loving and caring mother and aunt as she was always willing to help any and everybody. Elaine will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was a faithful member of East 8th Street Church of God until her health began to fail.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Alana Denyse Booker, stepfathers Alvin M. Caldwell, and Allen James Secrest, brothers Nelson R. Miller Jr, Darryl Miller, sister Linda Claudette Caldwell. She is survived by her son, Adam James Nelson Booker, sister, Vanessa Faye Caldwell Frierson, and several uncles and aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Adam Booker, Brandon Frierson, Jeremy Miller, Josh Miller, Alvin Booker, and Mark Wilson. Honorary pallbearers will include, Larry Wilson, Eric Miller, Devontai Smith, Shawn Webster, Davy Coker, Anthony Booker, Dennis Booker, and past and present employees of Maury Regional Medical Business Center.
