Esther Nell Parrish, 80, of Trenton, TN, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN.
Funeral services for Ms. Parrish will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Shelton Funeral Home in Trenton, TN with Bro. Nickey McMinn officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Trenton, TN. Shelton Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M.
She was born on November 27, 1945, in Hohenwald, TN and was a member of Laneview Baptist Church in Trenton, TN. She worked many places over the years and had last worked at Harlan Morris Retirement Center prior to her retirement. She enjoyed working with her flowers and loved being at home.
Ms. Parrish is survived by her daughters, Mary Kyle (Frank) of Humboldt, TN, Rose Campbell (Jerry) of Trenton, TN; and her special friend of many years, Larry Breece of Trenton, TN.
She is also survived by 4 granddaughters, Stephanie Sells (Darren) of Dyersburg, TN, Andrea Kyle of Trenton, TN, Christina Haynes (Jeremy) of Brookland, AR and Emily Ramsey (Spencer) of Salem, VA.
In addition, she is survived by a sister, Brenda Abbott (Robert); two brothers, James Frazier (Charlotte) and Ralph Frazier all of Trenton, TN.
She is also survived by ten great grandchildren, Brittney Sells, Jacob Sells (Kayla), Drew Powell, Lauren Patterson (Jordan), Kendall Powell, Colbie Sells, Kylee Nichols, Carter Haynes, Samuel and Zachariah Ramsey & a great-great grandchild, Alivia Sells; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was proceeded in death by her mother, Iva Frazier, two sisters, Mattie Bryant Hogue and Pauline Taylor; two brothers, Mike Frazier and Bill Christian; and her granddaughter, Jessica Kyle Joyce.
Serving as pallbearers will be Darren Sells, Drew Powell, Jacob Sells, Jeremy Haynes, Jordan Patterson and Jamie Talley. Honorary pallbearer will be Frank Kyle.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to Laneview Baptist Church, 49 Laneview-Concord Rd., Trenton, TN, 38382.
