Jason Jones, beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on January 31, 2024, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee.
He was born on March 19, 1979, in Columbia, Tennessee.
Jason was a fervent fan of WWE wrestling, finding joy and excitement in the world of sports entertainment. He had a profound love for music, particularly country melodies by artists like Garth Brooks and the soulful harmonies of Gospel music, such as the Gaither Vocal Band.
Known for his warm heart and infectious spirit, Jason was cherished by all who knew him. He embraced life with open arms and was a friend to everyone he encountered. His genuine kindness and radiant personality left a lasting impact on those around him.
Jason is survived by his mother, Patty (David) Jones, his siblings: Amber (Aaron) Moss and their daughter, Lindsay; Jeremy (Misty) Jones and their children: Skylar (Katharyn) Tarpley, Steven Jones, and Shelby “Deano” Jones; Cody (Ashley) Jones and their children: Cheyenne and Austin Jones; Joey (Kayla) Jones; Jordon Jones; Jade (Brandon) Woodard and their son, Dallen; and Justin Jones (Malazia Jackson) and their children: Amelia Jones, Amir Jones, Amazia Jones, and Amarley Jones.
He is also survived by his father, Edward (Debbie) Jones, and their extended family, as well as grandparents Dot (Alton) Keith and Mimi Jones. In addition to his family, Jason leaves behind a special friend, Tonya Brown, and a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents: George Holt, Buford Jones, Martha Ruth Jones, and Eugene Jones.
Though Jason has departed from this world, his spirit lives on in the hearts of those who loved him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for his unwavering love, laughter, and kindness.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 2, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee. A funeral for Jason will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee with Scott Coble officiating.
