Jean Ann Bailey, age 84, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at her residence.
Born on May 15, 1938, in Maury County, Jean was the daughter of the late Charlie Alderson and the late Claudia Cheeks Alderson.
She is survived by her daughters, Tawona Roan of Columbia, TN, Tammy Fields of Columbia, TN, stepdaughter, Colletta Webster of Columbia, TN, son-in-law, Eric Armstrong of Louisville, KY, sisters, Charlene Holt of Columbia, TN, Elizabeth Queens of Hermitage, TN, grandchildren, Crystal Lowery, Trenece Jana’ Lowery, Rontez (Jamie) Roan, Kevontis Jordan, Jamorea Roan, step-granddaughter, Kesha Armstrong, great-grandchildren, Jeremiah Roan, Kevontis Jordan, Jr. Sidrah Roan, Kora Roan, and step great-granddaughter, S’Niah Jones.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Douglas Bailey, daughter, Sandra Armstrong, God son, Dennis Goff, and siblings, Frances Goff, Thomas Floyd Alderson, and Lean Mai Alderson.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Maury Memorial Gardens. Her body will lie in state on Thursday, September 15, 2022, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
