Jeffrey Lee Humphrey, age 48, a resident of Columbia, passed away Saturday, August 28th at his residence.
A memorial service will be held at Johnson’s Chapel in the Fly Community on Saturday, September 11th at 2:00 PM. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Jeff was a life-long resident of Santa Fe, Tennessee, and worked in the family business, Humphrey Construction. He was a skilled carpenter with a gift for woodcarving and loved to make gifts for his family using his talents.
He is survived by a brother Wayne (Jessica) Humphrey, Jr of Santa Fe, sisters Crystal Craig of Santa Fe, Brittany (Josh) Pewitt of Spring Hill, and Alex Humphrey and Gloria Humphrey of Pulaski.
Jeff also leaves behind several nieces and nephews: Justin Humphrey, Abby (Austin) Maher, Rachel (Garrison) Burgess, Dillon Craig, Jasmine Craig, Logan Capps, Gage Walls, great-niece Aubrey Rose and great-nephew Maverick James.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne Humphrey, Sr., Deborah Darnell Humphrey, and sister, Cynthia Renee Humphrey.
