Jeff is survived by parents, Dick and Jeanne Roggensack; wife, Cheryl (Fister); daughters Leann (Edward) Stewart, and Rachel (Dan) Schmidt; and his grandchildren, Ellie, Lucia and William. He was the second in a family of seven children that included siblings JoEllen (Kain), Terry, Kirk, Ross, Andy, and Meg (Fisher). Jeff graduated from Homewood Flossmoor High School in Illinois in 1974; earned his B.A from the University of Illinois in 1978; earned his MBA from Kansas University in 1980. He met the love of his life, Cheryl, in 1985 and one year to the date later they married on May 25, 1986. Together, with God’s grace, they built a life centered on love, faith and family.

Jeff was a selfless father and a loving, steadfast husband. Jeff’s business resume includes IT positions at Arthur Anderson, Baxter Travenol, United Healthcare, Rehab Care Group, Alere, and DaVita. Along the way with moves around the country, he not only made many business colleagues, but also many friends.

Jeff will be remembered by his friends and family for his quick wit and sense of humor, his integrity, humility and unassuming nature, and by Cheryl as her closest, dearest friend, her once-in-a-lifetime love. Many and countless thanks go to all of the family, friends, neighbors, caregivers, and healthcare professionals who helped Jeff navigate these past months.

A time of visitation for friends and family will be held Thursday, June 26, from 4-7 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee. The Funeral Mass will be held Friday, June 27, at 11 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Columbia, Tennessee.
