Jennifer Sue Knappins passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022, in Columbia, Tennessee, she was 73 years old.
Jennifer was born September 22, 1948, to the late James Thomas and Katherine Burkhart Thomas in Harlan, Kentucky.
She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She has forever left an impression on the hearts that she has touched and will be greatly missed.
Those left to cherish her memory will be her loving husband of 50 years, Edward C. Knappins; children: James Knappins and Melissa (Ryan) Hundley; grandchildren: Brianna, Alicia, Alexandra, Mikayla, Brayden, and Brightyn; great-grandchildren: Brandon and Everleigh; brother: Kenny Thomas; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Jennifer is preceded in death by her siblings: Rosetta Lowe, Gwendolyn Thomas, Donnie Thomas, and Kenny Thomas.
The family will receive friends and family at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 14, 2022, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel at Williams Funeral Home. To follow, Ms. Jennifer will be laid to rest at Polk Memorial Gardens.
