John F. Collier left this world too soon on Monday, August 1, 2022, in Columbia, Tennessee, he was 63 years old.
John was born on October 24, 1958, to the late James Francis Collier and Mary Gwendolyn Murphy Collier in Chicago, Illinois.
If you knew John, you knew he had a larger-than-life personality. He was always having a good time with whatever he did. John and his wife share countless memories of camping in scenic landscapes, boating with friends on sunny days, celebrating their wins with their bowling league, cheering on his favorite baseball team the Chicago Cubs, and just partying with people he cared about the most. No matter the event, John was the life of the party.
Above all else, John cherished his family. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He will be deeply missed.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 37 years, Jane; children: James, Suzanne (Sean), Janelle (Curt), and Jennifer; grandchildren: Vanessa, James Jr., Charlotte, Cade, Layla, and Carter; and his special furbabies.
In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his brother and sister.
The family will be receiving friends and visitors at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia on Friday, August 5th, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with a funeral service beginning at 7:00 PM.
