Jose Vaca Garduno passed away peacefully at his home in Columbia, Tennessee on July 13, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on August 11, 1980, to Ricardo and Maria Vaca, Jose was a devoted husband, a beloved friend, and a cherished member of the community. He shared 24 wonderful years with his wife, Lucia, building a life filled with love, laughter, and service.
Jose was a jack of all trades, known for his strong work ethic, intelligence, and kind heart. He had a special gift for cooking and found great joy in preparing meals for his family and friends.
Jose was deeply involved in his church and community, including his work with the Knights of Columbus and mentoring young couples alongside Lucia. His faith and family were the foundation of his life.
Jose loved singing karaoke and loved the guitar. His warmth, generosity, and unwavering dedication to those around him will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife Lucia and his three daughters: Lucy, Samantha, and Isabella, as well as a large circle of family and friends who will carry his memory in their hearts forever.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 18, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee. A funeral mass for Jose will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 11:00 AM at St. Catherine’s Church. Jose will be laid to rest at Polk Memorial Gardens.
