Mrs. Kathryn Joyce Douglass, age 74, wife of Russell Douglass, and a resident of Linden, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021, at her residence.
Born on December 21,1947, in Dyer County, Tennessee, Kathryn was the daughter of the late Elbert Austin Warner and the late Margaret Ivon Brown Ledford. She enjoyed crafting and loved animals, especially cats, horses, and elephants. Kathryn would talk to anybody, never met a stranger, and often offered a warm hug to others. Above all, she loved her family and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
In addition to her husband, Russell of 33 years, she is survived by her children, Timothy (Jan) Whiteman of Goshen, IN, Kimberly Brock of Dickson, TN, Michelle (Robert, III) Miller of Middlebury, IN, Michael (Breana) Douglass of Elkhart, IN, half brothers, Auston Roy Lee Warner, Clayton Joseph Warner, William Lesley Warner, nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jackie Warner, and step father, James “Dude” Ledford.
