Katrina Lynn Cox, a beloved daughter, sister, wife, and mother, passed away on May 25, 2023, in Columbia, Tennessee, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

She was born on December 1, 1979, to Leonard Mahon and Judy Morgan Mahon.

Katrina was a devoted wife to her husband, Steven M. Cox, Jr., and a loving mother to her three children, Zander Hutchins, Ryder Lindsey, and Preston Cox. Her family meant everything to her, and she poured her heart into nurturing and supporting them throughout her life.

Professionally, Katrina worked as an Office Manager at Stanfill Lumber, where she found fulfillment and joy. Known for her organizational skills and structured approach, she excelled in her role and was highly regarded by her colleagues.

Beyond her professional life, Katrina had a deep love for nature and spent much of her time tending to her garden, particularly her cherished flowers. She also had a passion for raising Nigerian Dwarf Goats, which began with just two goats and grew to a herd of 30. Affectionately calling them her “Pasture Puppies,” she cared for them with immense dedication and enjoyed the unique bond they shared.

Katrina embraced the great outdoors and found solace in hunting. Her adventurous spirit and love for nature led her to explore the beauty of the world around her. She was always grateful for the tranquility and peace she found while surrounded by the wonders of nature.

Those who had the pleasure of knowing Katrina will remember her as a remarkable person with a heart of gold. She was known for her kindness, compassion, and unwavering support for others. Her warm smile and gentle nature left a lasting impression on all who crossed her path.

Katrina is preceded in death by her mother, Judy Mahon.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Steven M. Cox, Jr., their three children, Zander Hutchins, Ryder Lindsey, and Preston Cox, her father, Leonard Mahon, and her sister, Micki Ryals.

A celebration of Katrina’s life will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Culleoka Fire Hall, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory, share stories, and find solace in each other’s company. During this time, they will reflect on the beautiful legacy she leaves behind and find comfort in the love she shared.

Katrina Lynn Cox will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she find eternal peace and may her family and friends find strength and solace during this difficult time.
