Keith Clayton Obit

Keith Robin Clayton, 60, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2024, at St. Thomas Hickman in Centerville, Tennessee. Born March 19, 1964, in Florence, Alabama, Keith was the beloved son of Jean Clayton and the late Kenneth Clayton.

Keith had a passion for the great outdoors. Whether hunting, fishing, searching for arrowheads, or enjoying time on the river, he found joy and tranquility in nature. A dedicated and hard-working man, Keith owned and operated Columbia Storm Door since May of 1990, where his commitment to quality and service was well known. In addition to his love for nature, Keith enjoyed the thrill of visiting casinos. He found excitement in the gambling.

He cherished his family and friends deeply, always demonstrating a love like no other. His cherished dogs, Summer and Jersey, were constant companions and brought him immense happiness. Keith was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Candace Clayton. Married for seven years, their bond spanned 15 beautiful years together.

Keith is survived by his wife, Candace Clayton; his children, Anna Clayton, Aaron Clayton, Haley (Wesley) Davis, and Daniel James; and his granddaughter, Ayven Redmond, who brought light to his life. He also leaves behind his devoted mother, Jean Clayton, and siblings Kathy Zeitlin, Kenny Clayton, Kim (Deneen) Clayton, and Kelli (Fred) Gillham, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He is now reunited in peace with his father, Kenneth Clayton and precious pups: Emma Grace and Graci.

Family and friends are invited to honor Keith’s life on Monday, December 23, 2024, at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia, Tennessee. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a celebration of life at 4:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. A reception will immediately follow the service in Blevins Hall.
