Kesa Joycette Duke, age 57, resident of Mt. Pleasant, departed this journey in life on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Kesa Duke was the daughter of the late Fred E. Duke and Ernestine Duke.
She is survived by her son Adavin “Cortez” Easley and her daughter Frederica Duke, one brother Chris Duke (Melissa) and six sisters, Marie Hopkins, Brunetta Owens, Cynthia “Elease” Armstrong, Bridgette Webster, Cathy Duke and Daphne Duke.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by an older sister Terrie Akins and her oldest brother Fred “Stephon” Duke. She made lasting memories of love with her grandsons Devarrin Barner, Hezekiah Easley, Amir Barner and Messiah Barner. Kesa leaves a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends to celebrate her life.
A memorial service will be held on April 6th at 1:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Marcus K. Duke of New Day Community Church officiating. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. https://www.tnfunerals.com
