Laura Janiece Ragsdale, age 64, wife of Randy Ragsdale, and a resident of Williamsport, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
A visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home, on Friday, February 25, 2022, from 4:00 – 5:00 PM with a memorial service beginning at 5:00 PM with Rick Points officiating. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on December 12, 1957, in Summertown, Janiece was the daughter of the late Jimmy H. Bailey and the late Marjorie Holloway Bailey.
She married Randy Ragsdale on October 31, 1981. She worked twenty years as a concessionary manager for the Williamsport Lakes before retiring in 2020. She was an excellent cook who enjoyed crocheting and playing on her computer and will be remembered by her large pig collection. Above all, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Robin Patterson (Carl Shrake) of Lewisburg, son, Jonathan Cothran of Culleoka, brother, Anthony “Tony” (Tracy) Bailey of Williamsport, sister, Patricia (Dwight) Norman of Williamsport, grandchildren, Chesley Cothran, Clay Cothran, Lauralee Cothran, Lilly Cothran, Jay Cothran, and Ella Patterson, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will include the lunch crew at the Williamsport Lakes, James Morton, Robert Mooningham, Doug McKee, Dwight Norman, Dale Norman, Doug Wells, TWRA employees, and all of her Facebook friends.
