Lenore "Lee" Catherine Willeford

Mrs. Lenore “Lee” Willeford, age 84, wife of Horace Willeford, and a resident of Columbia, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on September 23, 2021, after a valiant fight with cancer.

A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at 11:00 AM at St. Catherine Catholic Church with Father Davis Chackaleckel officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery in Culleoka. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Lee was born on February 21, 1937, in Chicago, Illinois, and was the daughter of the late Albert Pacewick and the late Catherine Felter Pacewick. She moved to Columbia after marrying her husband, Horace Willeford. She was a loving mother to four beautiful children, grandmother to five grandchildren, and great-grandmother to eight great-grandchildren.

She was an active member at St. Catherine Catholic Church and her strength and faith in God got her through all of life’s trials and tribulations. She was a very humble person and wonderful caregiver who loved serving her church and representing God.

She is survived by her husband, Horace, of 65 years, children Kenneth Willeford of Culleoka, TN, Deborah (Kenny) Raia of St. Petersburg, FL, Karen (Tony) Woodall of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Diane (Thomas) Rosenburg of Nashville, TN, grandchildren, Tiffany (Tim) Ubele, Dustin (Nikki) Woodall, Kimberly Posnak, Shelby (Adam) Boron, and Kristen Woodall, great-grandchildren, SJ Posnak, Clementine Boron, Rowan Boron, Leiara Potts, Avaleigh Woodall, Zoe Wright, Oakleigh Wright, and Maci Woodall, sister Dolores, numerous nieces and nephews, and many other family members and friends who she loved dearly.

In addition to her parents, Lenore was preceded in death by her, sister Dorothy Mraz, nephews David Woodford and John Mraz, and grandson- in law, Thomas Posnak.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Woodall, Tim Ubele, Kevin Thompson, Kenneth Thompson, Al Danorovich, and Joe Kuhl. Honorary pallbearers will include Bob Sorci, Billy White, and Dr. Billingsby.
