Leslie Dale Holcomb, 78, retired accountant for Ceramic Tile in Nashville, and resident of Columbia, died Sunday, February 27, 2022 at NHC Columbia.
Born January 20, 1944 in Maury County, he was the son of the late Leslie Dale Holcomb, Jr. and the late Dorothy Baker Holcomb.
Mr. Holcomb served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and earned a Bronze Star. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his cousin, Don (Janie) Vandiver of Columbia; and friend, Scott Gross of Bowling Green, Kentucky.
A graveside service will be conducted Friday at 10:30 A.M. at Rose Hill Cemetery with Reverend Jeff Kane officiating. Military honors will be provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. The family will visit with friends from 9:00 A.M. – 10:00 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home.
